What Is Real Chemistry? Where To Find This? Why And How To Study It?

In simple words, chemistry is everywhere in our lives. It starts with our body, food, bathroom, offices etc. It is, in fact, forms the basis of our relationship with others. You must have heard people saying that my chemistry with my parents is really very good. It simply means I share a healthy relationship with my parents.

I am sure that all of you must have experienced bad stomach after eating your favorite dish at dinner. During the night, when your stomach starts singing “Gud Gud”, you instantly know that your stomach and taste buds of tongue chemistry did not gel well. Your stomach is upset about giving so much of the work of digesting your favorite food and it wants to show anger by singing a sad and angry song of “Gud Gud”. It is cursing tongue for showing poor respect towards him/her (I don’t know the gender of the stomach so you can call it whatever you want).

Chemistry is everywhere and everything is chemistry. Without chemistry, our life has no meaning.

It is just not lab thing, where you mix two or more colorful chemicals, while your teacher is away. You just make a naughty comment to your friend and say “Chal mila ke dekhte hain ki dhuan nikalta hain ki nahin” i.e. “let’s mix it up and see, do we get fumes or blast”

CHEMISTRY IS FUN AND FULL OF COMEDY. I am sure, some good TV channel can host a show something like “Comedy day and night with chemistry”. In this show, you just mix chemicals, people, animals and anything else and see, what really comes out. I am sure, it would be fun with thrill.

Chemistry is superbly interesting just because, it allows mixing of two or more persons, chemicals, items, objects etc. Something like, what will happen if you eat “Wada pav” and “Gobi manchurian” together. How will it taste?

Chemistry is curiosity. It fires up your curiosity in life because you are naturally interested, what will happen if things are mixed up. What will be final outcome?

Chemistry is boring only for those, who are boring and don’t enjoy life.

Now, the most important question arises to many students as to why we don’t enjoy chemistry.

Simple, either your teacher is boring or you are boring.

There is no problem with chemistry and there will never be. Otherwise, our mother’s cooked food will taste real bad and you know for sure, this is not right.

Food cooked by our lovely mother always tastes awesome, delicious, loving, hearty and superbly healthy.

So now the biggest question of almost every student, let’s address it.

Question: I know I am not boring because I enjoy life with my friends. I know, chemistry is not boring as I somewhat agree, what is described in this blog. But why I don’t enjoy chemistry?

Answer: Your approach towards it. You study chemistry with a sheer objective of securing marks and it is perfectly fine. You must pass the examination at any cost. But your interest is just confined only to secure marks then it is not the fault of chemistry.

When you watch your favorite movie or TV show then you want to know everything about the hero and villain of the movie. Because, you are interested, what kind of thrill situation or chemistry finally will build up between hero and villain as the climax?

Believe it or not, you are always interested in chemistry and will remain so forever.

Chemistry is not a problem but chemistry from the small book is the problem.

My recommendation as a chemist of chemistry, observe chemistry from life’s book. Next time, when you eat “Wada pav” with garlic sauce, look at that and imagine the chemical composition of it. While eating, imagining as to how enzymes present in your tongue forming bonds with “Wada pav”.

If you observe carefully, you will find, enzymes and “Wada pav” are singing love song together.

My message is to know and understand chemistry in full-blown scale.

OBSERVE !!! OBSERVE !!! OBSERVE !!!

What will you receive in return?

Entertainment !!! Entertainment !!! Entertainment !!!
